Big Brother Naija star Kiddwaya, known for his extravagant lifestyle, recently faced criticism for his writing skills. The backlash followed his congratulatory posts on Instagram and Twitter (X) celebrating the upcoming wedding of singer Davido and his fiancée, Chioma, set for June 25, 2024.
In his messages, Kiddwaya attempted to express his joy and support for the couple. However, the posts contained grammatical errors and awkward phrasing that did not go unnoticed by his followers.
His Instagram post read:
“A wedding ordained by Gods. Happy married lives my family @davido.
In another post, he wrote:
“What God cannot do does not exists. Happy married life my family @davido.”
Followers were quick to point out the mistakes in his posts. One follower humorously remarked:
“Kiddwaya ma pa wa nau. You edit, you still no get am. Ode dakun.”
This roughly translates to, “Kiddwaya, don’t kill us now. You edited it, and you still didn’t get it right. Fool, please.”
Kiddwaya’s posts highlight the importance of clear and accurate communication, especially for public figures. While his intentions were undoubtedly sincere, the errors in his messages detracted from the sentiment he intended to convey.
Despite the criticism, Kiddwaya’s heartfelt congratulations to Davido and Chioma should be acknowledged. As the wedding date approaches, fans will likely shift their focus back to the couple’s joyous occasion rather than the minor mishap in Kiddwaya’s posts.
